The last G-SHOCK offering we got a look at was a clean collection for the ladies to enjoy, but now Casio is offering a few new timepieces made for men, but built with enough unisex appeal to be rocked by anyone with an eye for fly watches.
Part of the brand’s ongoing 35th anniversary celebration, the new “Skeleton Gold” set — originally referred to as “Glacier Gold” — is a limited edition collection that features the DW5000, DW5700, GA700 and GA800 models. The standout feature of course is each option’s translucent band and bezel, complimented further by gold IP accents found on the case back, dial, band keeper and buckle. Of course, no G-SHOCK release is complete without its specs, and these include 200M water resistance and shock resistance, 1/100th stopwatch, Full auto calendar and both 12 and 24 hour time formats amongst other cool features.
The upcoming 35th anniversary “Skeleton Gold” Collection is expected for an October 2018 release, with the DW5035E-7 and DW5735E-7 models retailing for $220 USD and the GA735E-7A and GA835-7A going for $160 USD.
