A source, who remains anonymous according to Vero News, says that it was well known that both Melly and Bartien were both at the scene of the shooting.

Demons, 19, and Henry, 20, are currently in custody after the duo were indicted by a Broward County grand jury on two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the shooting deaths of their two friends. Christopher Thomas Jr., 19, and Anthony Williams, 21, were shot and killed in the early hours of Oct. 26 in South Florida.

Detectives are hoping that by facing the possibility of a death sentence by lethal injection that Demons and Henry will help them uncover the death of Deputy Chambliss.
