Virtual rock band Gorillaz proved they could create fly fashion in real life with a G-SHOCK collab that dropped last year, and now the quartet is pairing up with Levi’s for a full range of customizable apparel for the spring 2019 season.
Spearheaded by artist Jamie Hewlett, who also happens to be co-creator of the animated group, the collection includes classic denim offerings, hoodies and ringer tees with graphic options for all four members — 2D, Noodle, Murdoc Niccals and Russel Hobbs each get their own shirt design. For those that like to carry a few things every now and then, a tote bag is also included, and every piece in the set can be customized with select options of Hewlett’s artwork or a swap-out of colors, patterns or even the size of the motifs. It’s the perfect capsule collection for longtime fans of the band, or just those that ‘dare’ to be different.
