Bryan “Birdman” Williams has had his share of court battles, but he’s managed to come out on top in his battle with his ex-employee.
Back in 2018, Birdman was sued by his former employee, Nicolas Jose Penzo for $1 million dollars for unpaid wages. Birdman failed to respond quickly enough to the courts, resulting in a default judgement for Nicolas of $1,068,876.
Birdman later went to court, declaring that the system made an error in regards to the judgement against him for more than a million dollars. After a careful review and appeal, the court vacated the unfair default judgement and now Birdman has to respond to the original claim for $1 million dollars.
The battle for Birdman may not be over, but he now has a chance to defend himself in the courts.
