Border Buck and Mike Benji ‘Up the Score’ in New Music Video

East Harlem native, Border Buck has a new project up his sleeve. After working with artists like Dave East and Smoke DZA, it’s time for Buck to claim his rightful place in the spotlight. He’s coming in hot with his debut EP, “What Ya Life Like” – dropping January 24th that includes tracks like “Hustler’s Dream” and “Stand in Life” featuring Bodega Bamz. “What Ya Life Like” tells the story of everyday life in urban communities and aims to serve as a reminder that an entrepreneurial mentality, toughness, and unwavering values are the keys to success no matter what lane you’re in.

Growing up between New York City and North Philly Badlands, Buck is no stranger to tough environments. The pain, struggle and determination it took to overcome his upbringing is reflected throughout “What Ya Life Like”. Over heavy boom bap beats and eerie melodies created by producers including Triple A, J Demers, and TriForce, Border Buck uses his deep voice to weave harrowing tales of heavy losses, near misses, and ultimately the story of persevering through it all.

Following up on recent success and by overwhelming demand, Buck now delivers the visual for “Up The Score” featuring Mike Benji – which features the artists’ on their home turf and showcasing the contrast between Benji’s melodic auto-tuned flow and Buck’s classic hard hitting bars over bassy 808’s.
