The traditional face-off that happens right after a boxing weigh-in has been banned for Wilder vs. Fury 2.
According to reports, the Nevada State Athletic Commission canceled the face-off after the heated final press conference.
The final press conference on Wednesday saw its most confrontational moments yet. Wilder and Fury got in each other’s faces and began a shoving contest.
It had to be broken up by security and a member of Wilder’s camp. The face-off traditionally is the fighter’s last looks at one another before entering the ring the next day.
