The 25 year old Durham, North Carolina native has dropped his new album ‘God Forgive Me, Vol. 2’. The LP is the follow up to his 2018 ‘God Forgive Me’ project which attained generally positive critical reception & solidified his standing as one of North Carolina’s most significant emerging artists.
In 2019 Jaye founded Beautiful Music Empire, LLC. A full-service independent entertainment company which houses a record label, management agency, as well as photo & film production. This project serves as Jaye’s first release under the Beautiful Music Empire imprint.
As the second installment to his ‘God Forgive Me’ series, Jaye delivers a diverse variety of Hip Hop, Soul, & R&B. Moments of vengeance are embellished by a clarity that comes from experience. Throughout the course of the 19 song album, Jaye continues his epic & comedic storytelling alongside the cinematic, luxurious/opulent production.
The album was executive produced by Jaye himself, along with his in-house production team The Beautiful Music Mafia (C’Highest, Deltah, ROTT, & The Goodfellas). With additional production from LoFi, iano Beatz, Tezzy G’s Up, Klassix, Special, Glaazer & Yung Abso. Guest features include fellow Durham, NC rapper/singer Swift (mostly known for his 2016 top 40 hit single ‘Pull Up’), longtime collaborator & Grammy nominated producer Sam Harmonix, & buzzing Durham rapper Juliyo Tha Don.
