After dropping Butterflies Pt 2, Queen Naija’s Butterflies reached RIAA platinum status. The single was released in July 2018.
The 24-year-old R&B singer is making Butterflies her third platinum plaque behind Medicine and Karma which went platinum in April 2019. Naija believes the sales increased from her new platinum single due to the sequel’s release earlier this month.
“It took for me to drop a Butterflies Pt 2 ? For #1 to go platinum !!! Alright…” Naija joked on Instagram.

Queen Naija is set to tour this Spring with Jhene Aiko on the Magic Hour tour given there are no setbacks due to the coronavirus outbreak.
