After Black Out Tuesday, Warner Music Group has donated $100 million to social justice organizations.
According to Variety, Warner Music and the foundation of primary owner, Lee Blavatnik, will establish and apply procedures to support those in the music community, and organizations strengthening education, and promoting equality, opportunity, diversity and inclusion areas.
The Weeknd, Kehlani and others have posted and called on major record labels and streaming services to go “big” on their donations. The crooner donated $500,000 this past Monday during the Black Lives Matter organization.
