Stanley Babb (owner of Stanlo Photography) is a South Florida-based photographer who shoots Celebrity Weddings, Portraiture, Weddings and Events. He has shot some of the top celebrities for some of the largest brands and publications in the world. A few of his most notable features within the industry have been; being recognized as one of the Top Wedding Photographers in the World by Harper’s Bazaar as well as one of Brides’ Magazine “Best Photographers in the USA”. As we have seen many duplicating Stanlo’s style of photography, Mr. Babb has completely revolutionized how weddings and portrait sessions have been shot over the last few years.Stanley, also known as “Stanlo” is a native of Nassau, a small island in the Bahamas. His career in photography started long before he even thought of this being his full-time job. Photography has always been a passion of his. Stanlo carried around a small point and shoot camera in high school even though he had very little interest in making photography a career growing up. As he spent time traveling the world for many years with his family and not documenting the moments, he decided to purchase a camera in 2013 right before a trip to Panama with his family. At the time, Stan was in college studying for a bachelor’s degree in Networking Communication Management. As he neared the date for graduation, what was a hobby soon turned into an obsession. Stanlo had watched hundreds of YouTube tutorials and had given hundreds of free photoshoots to perfect his craft. He took the leap into photography full time after leaving Corporate America in March 2015, and it has been one of the most life altering yet best decisions he has made.
Stan’s path to gaining notoriety in this field has been unique. He has had the opportunity to photograph celebrity clients such as Lala Anthony, Letoya Luckett, Erica Mena, Porsha Williams, and Emily B to highlight a few. Even in the pandemic, Stanlo has managed to increase the number of bookings he would typically have in a year and executed more than 100 weddings and portrait sessions in 2021. There is currently a waiting list for sessions being booked in 2022. Stan prides himself on delivering EPIC images to all his clients. His goal is always to bring the best out of his clients and the result has been amazing as he has been able to deliver consistent content that can be seen all over social media, tv, and numerous magazine covers. One of Satnlo’s favorite celebrity shoots has been collaborating with Eva Marcille for the cover of B Collective Magazine. The cover speaks for itself as Stan captured Eva in such a radiant manner. Stanlo is also known for his breathtaking destination photoshoots. He has had the pleasure of photographing assignments all over the world from Greece, Italy, the Bahamas, and Africa to name a few. He plans to continue to grow his brand, and travel to new destinations over the next few years and keep producing the best content for all of us to see.
