For Kenyan-American artist Desiboy, he navigates the pressure with ease, releasing hit songs like “Money Money” and “Love Story” that have jump started his catapult to stardom.
Born and raised in Kenya, Shyam Thakker (Desiboy) packed his bags and headed for the U.S. when he was a young man fresh out of school. He landed in Detroit, Michigan, where collaborating with the local scene and using his multi-cultural background, drove him to the forefront there. Now a go-to name in the city, he plans on taking the world by storm with a slate of new releases, such as his most recent hit “Money Money”.
