From a young age, Jaylen Feliciano has had the odds stacked against him. The entrepreneur and motivator lost his father to gun violence when he was just six years old. The unfortunate loss meant that Feliciano had to grow up quickly to become the man of the house. Feliciano learned soon that life isn’t fair and that success is hard to come by.
Having a solid mindset, Feliciano joined the United States Marine Corps and is currently serving on active duty stationed in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. As a leader, Jaylen is motivated by watching his fellow soldiers thrive. “Seeing my Marines wanting to come to work & wanting to do their job with them knowing that they can come to me for any advice… financially, mentally, and even spiritually,” is what Feliciano said is the most rewarding part of his role.
Motivated to bring more awareness to building long-term wealth, Feliciano created a clothing company called Creating Generational Wealth. The brand goes beyond just clothes, becoming a movement encouraging others to think about their future and their kid’s future. “Essentially, I came up with, and the idea of the brand is to bring awareness to let everybody know that it’s not just about you,” explained Feliciano. “It’s about the ones after you.”
As an entrepreneur, Jaylen Feliciano has scaled his business to grow over six figures plus in revenue. “My greatest success so far is being able to go through three months of strenuous training and being able to now, three years later, become a full-time entrepreneur and somehow, in some way, I’m still able to make time to train my Marines and having my business scale over six figures plus in revenue,” said Feliciano. Feliciano hopes to continue to scale his business, encouraging others to make intelligent decisions that will better themselves in the long run.
