Many hip hop artists don’t always find fame right away. In fact, it’s common for an artist to spend years grinding and perfecting their craft before ever landing a major deal.
This is true of rising hip hop artist Traphique. The 29-year-old artist from Kuwait has been writing music since he was only 9 years old. However, he didn’t actually start recording himself until he was 15 years old, using his friend’s laptop and Apple’s GarageBand software.
While Traphique has always had a passion for music, his self crafted style has been heavily influenced by his older siblings as well as his own personal tastes in music.
The artist has been motivated to go even harder by doubters around him who have told him that he would never make it as a musician. “While I believed all of that at a point, today it just pushes me to go harder than ever.”
As an independent artist, Traphique has reached thousands of listeners across the world. He focuses on being authentic with each track he releases, making sure to never hide anything from anyone. “This music thing is my life”, explained Traphique.
