Additionally, another recent event was a two-day “Best In The Tri-State” showcase that took place at Rose City Studios. The event was hosted and judged by Hot 97 and Heavy Hitters Dj Drewski and Dj Taj, who brought massive energy and an authentic Hip Hop Vibe to the event. The recent “Best In The Tri-State” showcase was an opportunity for Steppahs Music Group to help local and Tri-State independent artists get more exposure in the music industry. Dj Taj and Dj Drewski gave SPMG artists like Rellz tha General and Tess the chance to be interviewed, showcase their talents, and gain more exposure throughout the tri-state area.
Aside from the recent “Best In The Tri-State” showcase, Steppahs Music Group has embarked on a college tour, performing at a few spring events at Rutgers University “Wild n Out” and William Paterson’s Black Grad and Milk n Melanin. During these events, SPMG put on a spectacle for attendees, proving that they are a force to be reckoned with.
In addition to college tours, Steppahs Music Group was selected to perform at the 10th year anniversary of “Who’s Litty Outchea” Part 1 that was held in New Jersey and Part 2 which took place in New York. This performance was a significant milestone for SPMG, as it provided them with a platform to showcase their talents in front of Def Jam, Epic Records, Capitol Records, Power 105, and Gabe P. It was a night to remember for SPMG, and the artists who graced the stage did not disappoint.
Nonetheless, SPMG’s talent doesn’t go unnoticed as they were invited to the 5-day Daze Summit Festival in New York City. There were industry executives and radio personalities from Roc Nation, 300 Ent, Epic Records, Quality Control, Hot 97, BET, and Hype Magazine in attendance. SPMG Artists Like Jihad the Wizard, Tess, Rellz Tha General, and Heartless took the stage and blew away the crowd! Most importantly, they utilized the opportunity to connect with the people.
