BX drill rapper Sha EK has been charged with attempted murder in connection to a July 2024 shooting in the borough’s Mott Haven neighborhood, which left three people injured.
According to reports, authorities arrested the rapper earlier this week after an investigation that relied on witness statements, security footage, and ballistics evidence to link him to the shooting.
Sha EK, a prominent figure in the New York drill scene, last made headlines in 2022 when he was among several local artists removed from the Rolling Loud New York lineup, reportedly at the request of the New York Police Department.
As of now, details regarding his detainment status or upcoming court proceedings remain unclear. TheSource.com will update this story as more details develop.
