Offset Responds to Lil Tjay’s ‘Broke’ Comment With Fight Challenge: ‘Meet Me In New York’

Offset has responded to Lil Tjay’s recent claims about his finances, challenging the Bronx rapper to settle their differences in person.

On Tuesday (March 11), Offset jumped into the comments of Tjay’s latest Instagram post, responding to his taunts by proposing a live fight. “Let’s hit on live, I’ll fly to you this ain’t gon stop the ya fell off allegations,” he wrote. “Meet me in New York. And give me a one on live.”

Tjay initially sparked the feud in January, claiming during a Twitch stream that he saw Offset begging for money after a losing streak at a casino. “Offset is broke,” he said. “He was popped, he was panicking. He was asking random people for Cash Apps.”

He doubled down on his accusations, alleging that Offset borrowed $5,000 from him and never paid it back. “I see like 13 bands in loans. I don’t know who got paid back that day. This n-gga’s ducked me for so long, boy.”

The dispute escalated further when alleged DMs between the two leaked, showing Tjay threatening to “smack” Offset over the unpaid debt. Offset allegedly fired back, saying, “Boy I’ll smoke you.”

Tjay continued his taunts earlier this week, posting on Instagram, “I could never be broke like Set, running off making smoke over lunch money… ima have ta smoke on a hunnit streams for it get to all that.”

With tensions heating up, it remains to be seen if the two rappers will actually face off in New York or if this remains an online war of words.
