Ray J was briefly detained by police following an intense dispute with his ex-wife, Princess Love, on March 13.
As reported by our friends at TMZ, the altercation occurred shortly after Ray returned from a tour. According to sources, the tension between the couple escalated as they discussed their ongoing divorce.
Reportedly, feeling unsafe due to his behavior, Princess Love reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department, alleging that Ray J was acting aggressively and possibly under the influence of substances.
When officers arrived at the scene, they reportedly took Ray J into custody for questioning.
He was placed in the back of a squad car while authorities investigated. After speaking with both Ray J and Princess Love, the police concluded that no criminal activity had occurred. As a result, Ray was released without facing any charges.
However, as a precaution, a domestic violence report was filed by authorities, though no formal accusations were made.
