SOURCE SPORTS: [WATCH] Atlanta Hawks Recreate Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime Show

Kendrick Lamar’s impact continues to resonate beyond music, reaching the NBA as the Atlanta Hawks paid tribute to his viral Super Bowl halftime performance of Not Like Us during a recent game.

During a break in their matchup against the Golden State Warriors over the weekend, the Hawks’ mascot and dance team put their own spin on Lamar’s now-iconic Drake diss track. Their performance even included an Uncle Sam figure, just as Kendrick had in his Super Bowl set—originally portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson.

The crowd embraced the moment, singing along and erupting when the track hit the now-famous “A minor” line.

As Lamar’s Super Bowl performance continues to be widely praised, it appears his influence may extend to an even bigger global stage. According to Casey Wasserman, Lamar’s booking agent and Chairman of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games organizing committee, the rapper is likely to be involved in the upcoming Olympics.

“Fortunately, in my day job, I represent Kendrick Lamar. He is truly an L.A. icon, so I think it would be a pretty fair bet that Kendrick will be involved in the Olympics in Los Angeles in some way,” Wasserman stated.
