Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is taking legal steps to secure what’s owed—and he’s doing it in classic Fif fashion.
As reported by AllHipHop, a federal bankruptcy judge has given 50 the green light to seize the Connecticut home of Mitchell Green, a former top executive at his Sire Spirits brand. Green, who previously worked as the director of brand management for the liquor company, owes the rap mogul nearly $7 million following a fraud conviction.
ICYMI, the drama began when Green was allegedly blackmailed by someone threatening to expose that he had embezzled over $2 million from Sire Spirits. Rather than being exposed, he confessed to the scheme in 2020, triggering a legal battle that ultimately resulted in the court ordering him to repay the millions he had stolen.
Get this, Green attempted to dodge the judgment by filing for bankruptcy, but the court wasn’t having it—ruling the debt non-dischargeable. That means 50 Cent and his company are within their rights to go after Green’s assets, including his Westport home, to settle the massive fraud tab.
As Complex reported, 50 already joked about taking over the crib last year, captioning an Instagram post with his trademark flair:
“I think I’m gonna put Epoxy floors in this place. I’m gonna keep it and his family pictures around, you know as a theme for the place. LOL.”
But the seizure of Green’s house isn’t the only headline 50’s been making lately.
He’s also been all over social media with commentary on the high-profile legal woes surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs. As Diddy’s legal troubles continue to mount amid lawsuits and federal scrutiny, 50 has been quick with the jabs. Over the weekend, he shared an AI-generated image of a gray-haired Diddy in a courtroom, writing:
