Rising Detroit rapper Skilla Baby is recovering after being wounded in a drive-by shooting in his hometown. The incident occurred in the 8 Mile area, where the rapper was reportedly riding in a black SUV when it was targeted and ultimately crashed into a nearby building.
According to Fox 2 Detroit, Skilla Baby sustained grazes to his head and back, in addition to a gunshot wound to the hand. Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene, and the rapper was transported to a local hospital. He remains in stable condition, alert, and is expected to make a full recovery.
As of now, Detroit police have not named any suspects or established a clear motive behind the shooting. Skilla Baby has yet to make a public statement regarding the incident.
