Uniting for Altadena: Celebrities Gather at Pre-ESPYs Charity Event

On Tuesday, July 15, the Sunset Room Hollywood transformed into a space where sports, entertainment, and purpose all combined for the Clinch Entertainment and Treimage Pre-ESPYs Charity Event. Presented in partnership with Becker Law Group and McNicholas & McNicholas LLP, the evening brought together celebrities, athletes, and community leaders for a night of celebration with a deeper mission supporting the victims of the devastating Eaton Fire in Altadena, California.

Set against the glitz of ESPYs Week, the event reminded guests of the power of showing up—not just for the cameras, but for people in need.

The evening’s host, Ray-Ray McCloud III, wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons, kept energy levels high as emcee while also surprising guests with a musical performance alongside Ronte of Legendary Tribe. The night also included a surprise performance by Bre-Z, with her All American co-star Kareem Grimes also in attendance. As a Los Angeles native with personal ties to Altadena, Grimes shared heartfelt words about the impact of the fire as over 9,000 structures and 6,000 homes were damaged.

Performances throughout the evening showcased a diverse range of artists, including Kosine (9x Grammy-nominated producer), Chef SeanBriannagh D.Jozzy4rest, and more. Their music added an uplifting, soulful layer to a night rooted in both reflection and hope.

The Pre-ESPYs Charity Event served to be an important moment to keep the Eaton Fire victims in the public eye, even amid a week typically reserved for sports celebrations.
