Just ahead of the crispiest holiday of the year, National Chicken Finger Day, hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg surprised delighted customers and fans at a Raising Cane’s in Las Vegas on Wednesday afternoon, spreading the word about a finger-lickin’ good deal. As the new face of Cane’s latest campaign, Snoop announced that every Box Combo purchased on Sunday, July 27th, will come with a FREE Chicken Finger!

This year’s National Chicken Finger Day promises to be the biggest yet, marking the first time Raising Cane’s has ever offered an extra Chicken Finger to all customers with a Box Combo purchase, not just its Caniac® Club loyalty members. No code or coupon is required for this special offer, which is available in-restaurant, drive-thru, via the mobile app, or online. Raising Cane’s started this holiday 16 years ago, and with Snoop Dogg on board, the celebration is reaching new heights.

During his surprise “shift,” Snoop Dogg brought his signature swagger to the front counter and drive-thru, greeting excited fans, posing for selfies, bagging orders, filling drinks, and even making Chicken Fingers in the kitchen. He also handed out copies of his new album, Iz It A Crime?, joking with customers about being “employee of the month” alongside his new puppy, Baby Boy Broadus.

“When I made Iz It A Crime? it was about finding a feeling, it’s not just the sound,” said Snoop. “I’m like a kid – I just like to have fun. I like to be associated with new talent and would love to collab with artists like Lil Russel and others in the future.”

Raising Cane’s owner and founder, Todd Graves, enlisted Snoop’s help to celebrate National Chicken Finger Day in the brand’s latest ad spot, which features a festive Snoop soaring through the skies in a big red Cadillac, spreading joy and Chicken Fingers.

“Todd Graves always shows up for me and is like family to me. I like giving back and I like Chicken Fingers – I order like seventeen of them – so I wanted to support him and his holiday,” Snoop shared. “We have a great relationship, so it’s really cool to be here. Happy National Chicken Finger Day!”
Graves echoed the sentiment, stating, “Snoop is a great friend of mine and we’ve partnered together on many things over the years and always have fun. When it came time to make this the biggest National Chicken Finger Day yet, I knew Snoop would make this year unforgettable with his signature humor and energy.” He added, “Snoop is an incredible artist, producer, family man, and entrepreneur who continues to inspire generations with his achievements across music, film, TV, and more. I’m proud to call him a friend and appreciate him coming out to surprise fans and Customers ahead of National Chicken Finger Day on Sunday.”

The relationship between Snoop Dogg and Raising Cane’s runs deep, marked by various collaborations including a Drive-Thru Comedy appearance, co-starring roles with Todd Graves in Discovery+’s “Restaurant Recovery” and A&E’s “Secret Sauce.” In 2024, Graves made a cameo in Snoop’s Prime Video film “The Underdoggs,” and last year, Graves donated $100,000 to The Snoop Youth Football League. The two also appeared together on stage at Cane’s 2025 Canecun conference for a fireside chat on entrepreneurship and leadership.
