To be a snitch, or to not be a snitch. Is this what we are concentrating on? Weird times, that seemingly never change or evolve. Anyways, Young Thug is once again at the center of controversy after an old police interrogation video began making the rounds online, sparking fresh allegations that he cooperated with authorities.
The clip, that obviously went viral was allegedly recorded nearly two years ago, shows the YSL leader mentioning Peewee Roscoe during a two hour questioning session. Since it resurfaced, the footage has fueled heavy debate on socials, with many users accusing Thug of being a snitch.
Roscoe was previously tied to the 2015 incident where Lil Wayne’s tour bus was allegedly shot up. Despite the chatter, Thug immediately denied any wrongdoing, tweeting, “They didn’t play my interrogation video in court cause I helped my brada #Ratwhere?”
Still, the blah blah snitching blah blah accusations have snowballed, drawing in both YSL affiliates and outside voices. Within Thug’s circle, names like YSL Woody, Ralo, Peewee, and YSL Duke have all weighed in, trading shots with one another over the situation.
Commentators outside the crew, including Charleston White and Wack 100, also shared their takes. While both claimed Thug gave up Roscoe, the latter actually defended him, insisting he did the opposite.
“That’s what you’re supposed to do. When you go in the interrogation room, that’s what you do. You tell ’em ‘We sold Dwayne Carter weed.’ What the fck is wrong with you? A statement is this right here…. He did what a tax-paying citizen do, a real street n***. He kept it silent, kept it overly real. Really, tried to pull me out the hole.”
In fact, Wack 100 turned the tables by calling out others instead, suggesting Gunna, Ralo, and Duke were the ones who actually folded under pressure.
Again, to be a snitch or to not be a snitch. Guess it just matters who you’re asking or who has the loudest podcast microphone. INSERT YAWN … yes we wrote that out, because we’re yawning.
