Lizzo’s wellness journey has been a big part of her story and now she is bringing her friends into the mix. The Grammy winning star recently hit up Walmart with Dallas rapper BigXthaPlug during a livestream, and what started as a casual shopping run quickly turned into a playful debate about soda.
As they walked the aisles, Lizzo pushed for her go to choice. “We got to get some Coke Zeros,” she told him, pointing out the healthier option. BigXthaPlug was not sold. “Coke Zero is crazy. You might as well not even drink soda. It’s zero,” he fired back, shutting down the idea.
Thinking he might just not be into soda at all, Lizzo asked if he preferred water instead. But BigX clarified, “I mean, I drink soda,” making it clear his issue was with the sugar free versions. Lizzo doubled down, insisting her favorite was the vanilla flavor of Coke Zero, which led BigX to joke, “You might as well drink a regular vanilla Coke.”
The soda standoff wrapped on a lighter note when the two broke into a dance routine to BigX’s 2024 single The Largest. Lizzo later shared the clip on the Gram with the caption, “We the BIGGEST in the game! @bigxthaplug,” showing that even playful debates can turn into viral moments.
