photoTayyib Ali has been on his grind, releasing songs in waves since the beginning of 2014. In the last week, he’s released two new joints, “Smoke Break” (produced by DJ Grumble) and “Put Ya Hands Up” (produced by Teddy Roxpin) to rave reviews and positive reactions from his continually fast-growing fanbase.

Both records embody that classic 90’s/early 2000’s soul sound, with crisp sample cuts and gritty drums. This is definitely the sound that Ali should stick with moving forward, as it allows his writing to shine through and compliment it. If these tracks provide any insight into what to expect on his forthcoming mixtape, Keystone State Of Mind 3, we are surely looking forward to it.
