Birdman took to Twitter to announce that there would be a sequel to his 2006 joint album with Weezy, Like Father, Like Son. The new project will be titled Like Father, Like Son 2: Tha Last Mob. This is the first time that Cash Money’s H.N.I.C. has spoken about the sequel since a Billboard interview last spring (see below). Maybe we’ll get a “Stuntin Like My Daddy 2.0” record.
“We’re looking to do that in December some time, after we all drop our solos albums and go on tour,” he says. “We have a lot of songs we did before (Wayne) went (to jail), and we’ve been working since he came home. All we’ve got to do is pick. And Wayne likes to be fresh with our music, so we might wait… and just knock out 20 songs right quick and put those on the album.”
