Nothing Was The Same was one of 2013’s crown jewels, as Drake‘s 3rd LP soared to first-week sales of 658,000 copies en-route to total sales numbers of over 1.5 million. The album sparked his biggest tour yet, the Would You Like A Tour? tour, and featured quite possibly the two biggest anthems the Toronto native has to date: “Started From The Bottom” and “Worst Behaviour”. Shortly after the release of NWTS, Drake continued to release music–about a short EP’s worth–unleashing “We Made It”, “Trophies”, “Draft Day”, “Days In The East” and “0-100” in that order, and featuring on his OVO Sound artists’ buzzing records, including OB ‘OBrien‘s “2 On/Thotful” and most recently, PARTYNEXTDOOR‘s “Recognize”. When he was asked about his penchant to continue to release music, despite his album already being out–something Drizzy isn’t known for–he maintained that he was hungry, and was as eager as ever to get back to work.

Well, that trend appears to be going nowhere, as less than a year after the release of his last album–Nothing Was The Same hit stores on 9/24/14–Drake has announced the title of his 4th album (reportedly dropping in Spring 2015, as per “0-100”). Via an exclusive statement made to Billboard, we now know Drake’s 4th LP will be titled Views From The 6. The “6”, is short for 416, the area code of Drake’s native Toronto, and he teased the usage of that number on the artwork for “Days In The East”. This announcement comes on the heels of OVO Sound revealing the release dates of Majid Jordan‘s new EP, A Place Like This (7/22), PARTYNEXTDOOR’s PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO (7/29), and the impending OVO Fest, which takes place at the onset of next month.
