A Tribe Called Quest x Stussy Capsule Collection

Can I Kick It?

With Stussy turning 35 years old this year, the storied label is amongst the founders of the street wear movement.  For its next collaboration the brand looks to celebrate with rap group A Tribe Called Quest for its 25th year in New York.   A capsule collection that presents a few of Tribe’s unique designs and imagery is set to release soon.  The music A Tribe Called Quest concocted in the late 80s and early 90s lent itself to Stussy’s design concept very well and undoubtedly inspired apart of the brands aesthetic.  Stussy’s work in the 90s era reflected the hip hop mentality and still does as evident by this upcoming partnership collection.  A range of hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, T-shirts, and a handful of caps and bucket hats all pay homage to hip hop great ATCQ’s record and video work.  Prepare for the assortment of Tribe goods to drop July 18th at Stussy retail stores and online.  There will be an in-store meet-and-greet and a signing of limited edition posters with ATCQ’s Q-Tip, Phife, Ali and Jarobi at the Manhattan Stussy location on the date of release.
