Beyonce Becomes First Black Female Artist to Grace Vogue’s September Issue

Beyonce is making history…again

As big as Beyonce is, she does an incredible job of staying out of headlines. Even her daughter, Blue Ivy, is seldom seen or heard from, unlike similarly coveted celebrity kids. However, when she does pop up, she shuts it down.

Late last night, the September cover of Vogue was teased on social media, and none other than Beyonce is standing tall on the hotly-coveted cover. Beyonce marks just the third Black woman to be featured on Anna Wintour‘s world-changing publication’s cover, and the first Black female artist in Vogue history to grace the September cover.
