Alexander Wang Shows Off Charity Benefit Apparel With the Help of a Few Friends

Alexander Wang created a capsule collection with a cause and called in some friends

Alexander Wang enlisted the help of a few celebrity peers and friends in an effort to promote and showcase his labels newly released message centric apparel collection.  Inaugurating a decade of Alexander Wang fashion, a street wear ready selection of hoodies and T-shirts is now available online and at Wang retail locations worldwide.  Blatantly and boldly inviting purveyors of the gear to “Do Something”, the statement pieces were devised by creative director Alexander Wang in an effort to advertise youth activism and volunteering.  The clothing’s statement is attached directly to a charity organization, with 50% of all proceeds from sale of the monotone styles being directed to DoSomething.org.

View the gallery above to check out a host of youth influencers, iconic faces and overall a squad that has Wang’s personal admiration donning the clothing pieces.  “We felt like, let’s do a campaign and bring together people that we really respect or who have been a big part of our brand, who helped support us, who’ve given us support, been supporting us all these years,” Wang told Yahoo Style. For this campaign musical talents such as Asap Rocky, Tyga, Rod Stewart, Pusha T, Angel Haze, WeekndJhene Aiko, Haim and Grimes all dedicate their image to a cause backed by one of the biggest names in high fashion. Models like Cara Delevingne, Georgia May Jagger and Kate Moss strike signature poses alongside personal friends of Wang Kanye West and the most followed woman on Instagram Kim Kardashian.  Photographed by Steven Klein and creative directed by Pascal Dangin of KiDS Creative, the star studded campaign will hopefully reinforce the idea of positive youth activity while also providing fashion fans with new black and white tops.
