Yesterday, Meek Mill dropped a surprise 4-song EP, aptly titled 4/4, to Soundcloud, including a remix of Drake and Future‘s “I’m The Plug,” and a song called “Gave ‘Em Hope,” an inspirational banger that included some pointed shots towards 50 Cent, whose roller coaster relationship with Meek’s label head and trusted friend, Rick Ross, has been well-documented.

On “Gave ‘Em Hope,” which you can listen to here, Meek raps:

You know the game, if you cosign a rat, you forever a rat
We were never with that
You tried to go ‘Money’ May with that paper, but now you in debt cause you never were that

Months after Rick Ross was arrested for allegedly kidnapping and assaulting his groundskeeper, 50 Cent posted a picture of himself and the groundskeeper at an event celebrating Effen vodka, the liquor brand he’s endorsed for the last few years, and it’s likely that’s the incident Meek is referring to.

Today, in classic 50 Cent fashion, the G-Unit boss took to Instagram to unleash a series of memes and comedic clips firing back at Meek, calling the Philadelphia rapper “retarded for going at him.
