It’s the most wonderful time of the year, therefore, be prepared to witness the exciting, conclusive ending to one of the most highly competitive, wide-open college hoop season in years.
With conference tournament play finally coming to an end, the NCAA selection committee had finally made time to put together the field of 68. As expected, the Kansas Jayhawks and North Carolina Tar Heels have received the nod in becoming number one seeds in the South and East region of the bracket. Even though they lost in the ACC conference tournament championship game, the Virginia Cavaliers became a surprised number one seed in the Midwest region while the Oregon Ducks will hold the top spot in the West region.
Amongst the favorite to cut down the nets are the Oklahoma Sooners, who have a dynamic scoring sensation in Buddy Hield. Michigan State, who landed the number two seed in the Midwest region, is a team everyone wants to face as they are fresh off of winning another Big Ten conference title. National Player Of The Year candidate Denzel Valentine has been lighting up the stat line, averaging 19 points, seven assists and seven rebounds a night for Tom Izzo‘s ball club. But teams should be on the look out for squads such as Seton Hall. They are capable of bringing lots of momentum into the tournament considering they are fresh off their first Big East conference title win since 1993 thanks to outstanding play by NBA prospect Isiah Whitehead.

The LSU Tigers did not have the resume to help them push their way into being selected, which means fans may have saw the last moments of freshman phenom Ben Simmons in a LSU uniform as critics already projected him as the first overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft.
