‘The Life of Pablo’ is Going on Tour, Says Kanye West

After Gray Contact-Gate, when Kanye West showed up in jeans and colored contacts at yesterday’s MET Gala sending the internet into a frenzy, the “Gold Digger” rapper called into The Steve Harvey Morning Show today [Tuesday, May 3].

West announced he’s hitting the road in support of his latest album, The Life of Pablo, slated to kick off this September:

“My tour game is strong. My tour game is unprecedented. We’re gonna go out in September, I believe. We’re working on the ideas now. I’m trying to inspire these kids the way Disney inspired me, the way I saw the original Star Wars. Everybody know, they know, the people that run Hollywood know! They know what it is!”

During his 20 minute interview, the Chi City native touched on Kirk Franklin and his Adidas clothing line:

“That first season, I wasn’t in charge of none of those prices. Mark my words; I am coming for their neck. I’m about to drop these prices in a way that I can connect to the Kanye that I was when I was 14 years old and my mom could barely afford it.”

And his Wiz Khalifa feud and Amber Rose:

“I’ve talked to Wiz. Amber’s talked to Kim. I want to really stress the amount of respect that I have for parents. There is no concept for anyone being able to own somebody else’s child. Every day, I actually feel more deeply, deeply, deeply apologetic about that concept because I only want to put out positive, positive, concepts.”
