Today (May 3) is a very sad in Hip Hop as it was revealed that Afeni Shakur, the mother of the iconic Tupac Shakur, passed away at the age of 69-years-old. A few hours later, NBA legend Reggie Miller was a guest on The Dan Patrick Show, and was asked if he ever had the pleasure of meeting Tupac. Much to everyone’s surprise, not only had Miller met Pac, but he was set to make an appearance in his 1997 film Gang Related. Miller filmed a scene playing a hot dog vendor but that portion did not make the final cut.
“I played me as a hot dog vendor,” Miller said. “It was during the first [NBA] lockout [in 1995]. I was supposed to have fallen on hard times, and I was a hot dog vendor. But it didn’t make the movie.”
