In a highly anticipated Game 6, the Cleveland Cavaliers held off the Golden State Warriors 115-101 to force a Game 7 back in the Bay Area.
After blow-outs in the first three games, the series has become much more competitive, with the last three games having been decided by 15 points or less.
LeBron James was dominant from the tip off, putting the team on his back. He finished the night with 41 points, 11 assists, 8 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 blocks, one which came on Steph Curry, and another on Draymon Green. Kyrie Irving came up huge again for the Cavs, dropping 23 points in game 6.

The Warriors seemed overwhelmed early on, going down 20 points at the end of the first quarter. But the Splash Brothers were not going to go down without a fight, with Steph Curry getting hot in the 2nd quarter, and Klay Thompson going off in the 3rd. Curry finished the game with 30 points, and Klay was close behind with 25 points.
The major story lines heading into Game 7 are the Cavalier’s confidence, and the health of the Golden State Warriors. After combining for 82 points in game 5, and having great games in game 6, Kyrie and LeBron are firing on all cylinders on the offensive end, and the Warriors have struggled to contain them since that historic performance. The other big story in game 6 was the health of Andre Iguodala, who suffered back spasms early in the game. He continued to play, but could barely more around the court. With Andrew Bogut already done for the series with a knee injury, Iguodala’s health could be the deciding factor for Game 7. Either way, it is sure to be an all-time classic. Don’t miss it this Sunday at 8pm EST on ABC.
