In the midst of a slew of social injustices on the rise, rapper Lil Durk recently turned to his tattoo artist to show his support.
No stranger to getting ink done, the Chicago native recently decided to allow his latest tattoo be more than just a cosmetic modification, but a representation of his political stance. Sharing the process on his Snapchat and Instagram, the OTF artist shows himself getting a Black fist with a crown base accompanied by the words, “Black Lives Matter.”
Explaining his reasoning behind getting the new addition to his arm, Durk explains in the caption of his Instagram post, “What’s going on today crazy to me in the world – we matter.”
Not the first instance of his show of support for the movement, Durk’s latest effort is definitely a permanent one not to be mistaken.
