Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa pretended to puff on a joint before throwing out the first pitch. He also wore a T-shirt reading “Legalize it.”
The Pittsburgh-bred rapper threw out the opening pitch before the Pirates beat the Orioles 5-3 at PNC Park on Wednesday, but before he pitched, he wanted the fans to know he’s pro-420.
MLB said, “Marijuana is a (prohibited) substance in all of our drug programs and it is unfortunate this situation occurred.”
The Pirates said they had no idea this was going to happen.
