Michael Rapaport once had dreams of being a player for the NBA when he was 15 until he realized “there was no place for a slow, white Jewish kid”.
In his forthcoming sports trash talking book the actor details playing against many celebrities in This Book Has Balls. He admitted that Justin Bieber, George Clooney and Denzel Washington can ball, but Drake should stick to making music. “Drake is a big basketball fan, but he has no game whatsoever,” the trash-talker told Page Six. He continued, “Kanye obviously spent more time in art class than gym class. He stinks.”
Michael goes on to reveal what is the hardest thing about playing with someone who uses their looks to get far. “The trouble is, you can’t hit them in the face.” He was surprised at how fast and competitive Bieber was, and revealed that Clooney beat him in a best of three one-on-one game series. “George’s game is confusing because he’ll foul you, talk smack and then be friendly . . . My street cred hasn’t been the same since.”
Later in the interview, Michael who is also a New York Knicks fan says how he feels about Carmelo Anthony’s trade to the Oklahoma City Thunder, “I’m glad for him. No one deserves to be shamed and mistreated like that.”
