Ray Allen has always been known for his ability to knock down the three-point shot. Whether in the corner, on the wing or at the top of the key, count on Ray-Ray to make a rainbow from anywhere on the court.
From the historic 1996-97 draft class, Allen spent seven seasons as a Milwaukee Buck: five seasons as a Seattle Sonic (OKC), five seasons as a Boston Celtic and 2 seasons with the LeBron era Miami Heat. 19 years in the NBA, decorated with two NBA championships, “Sweet Ray” put his work in and paid all his dues.
Now off the hardwood, you can find Allen in Miami on the lush greens perfecting his golf swing. Michael Jordan has opened a lane for former NBA players to try their best at being a vintage, Tiger Woods.
Whether: Bermuda, Bentgrass, Perennial Ryegrass or Zoysia, Allen proves he can still choose a good pair of kicks and just because he’s playing golf doesn’t mean he can’t rock his Jordans.
He hosted a Miami-based celebrity golf tournament to raise awareness for education initiatives where he was joined by an assortment of stars such as Jorge Posada, Michael Redd, Alonzo Mourning and Eddie Jones.
At the tournament Allen was spotted in Air Jordan 11 Low Golf shoes. However you won’t be able to find these anywhere so just enjoy the view.
Customized by Nomad Customs, the original all white silhouette was transformed into an eye-catching, bright rainbow silhouette.
Jesus Shuttlesworth must’ve had a good conversation with someone upstairs because these turned out heavenly.
Judging by the peach colored pants and the white Polaris Slingshot he drove in, Sweet Ray is down in Miami living the sweet life.
He’s an all-time legend when it comes to making vertical rainbow-esque arcs, we don’t know how well his rainbow arcs translate to the horizontal golf swing.
