Pussy Riot member Peter Verzilov has been released from a German hospital following two weeks of treatment for poisoning.
The activist was hospitalized in a critical condition after falling ill in Russia earlier this month. His friends and family, including fellow Pussy Riot members, suspected he had been poisoned. Doctors later confirmed their suspicions.
Pussy Riot took to Twitter today to announce that Verzilov has now left the hospital.

Verzilov fell ill after attending a court hearing for the group’s Veronika Nikulshina. He passed out and felt like he was losing his eyesight when he regained consciousness.
According to a statement issued by Pussy Riot, doctors from the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin hospital confirmed that it was their medical belief that Verzilov had been poisoned in Moscow.
Verzilov was one of four Pussy Riot members jailed after invading the pitch during the World Cup Final in July. They were sentenced to 15-days in prison and banned from attending sporting events for three years.
