The collaborations revealed for today include pieces with Cactus Plant Flea Market and Illegal Civilization, respectively. The latter brand plays to Weezy’s affinity for skate culture, with the L.A.-based skate team creating a cartoon-style motif that features the quote “We been waiting for this” on the back — a line that many fans have probably been saying about Tha Carter V for the past couple of years. The long-sleeve shirt provided by Cactus Plant Flea Market hits a little bit closer to home, with a front graphic that pays homage to Wayne’s New Orleans origins and the back that basically lists every accomplishment in his career to date — of course, date of birth included as well.
