Coming from the Southside of Atlanta all I seen was poverty , and struggle. So when I started rapping that’s what I expressed the most in my music, what I was going through and had seen with my own 2. I believe in being honest with myself with anything I do. That’s why I have records like da partments, my background, & Lme. That’s what makes me stand out the most in this era because I’m not just giving you music, im giving you a vivid picture to go with it. You can close your eyes and feel like you right there with me.
So At this point in my career, I’m not going through most the things I rapped about in the past so with this record I like I felt it was time to show them another side of me, an elevated one.
“Ball” is basically showing you the aftermath of the stay down, it gives my listeners a chance to feel hope instead of just my pain. And because my fans feel my struggle I want to show them that if you keep pushing, you too can ball.
