While it’s not a secret that Waka Flocka Flame is no lyricist, it seems the dread swinging MC is looking to make that his trademark with the release of his sophomore effort Triple F Life: Friends, Fans and Family.
In a recent interview with Billboard.com, Waka talks about his lyrical style (or lack their of), the goal of his new project, and alternative albums you should be picking up if your “looking for lyrics”.
last year Waka spoke with us on the same topic and had this to say:
“To me, i feel like an entertainer and a rapper are two different people. I’d rather be a guy that can make hit singles than a guy that can be a good rapper. Who winning at the end of the day? Everybody says i can’t rap. Shit, it’s like 95% of them, they can’t even get a single, PERIOD“
