Get Home Safely Set to Release in the Summer of 2013
You know summer is approaching when Dom Kennedy is getting ready to release new music. Last night via twitter he announced his latest solo album Get Home Safely will be available to the masses this summer. Dom seems to always supply us with some of the best summertime music, his effortless flow and the dope beats that orchestrate each bar.
This is somewhat of a reflection for Dom Kennedy. When he spoke to the L.A. Leakers, he explained that this is a culmination of his life up to this point. He took time to think back about close friends he grew up with who are no longer with him, documenting their lives. Recalling fond memories of being a youngin’ and having his mom dropping him off at the bus stop and telling him to get home safely served as some inspiration for the project.
