It’s barely March, and the insults and rivalries in Hip Hop are at the forefront yet again. 50 Cent didn’t respond to Jim Jones after the Harlem rapper called him “a sucka” during an appearance on The Breakfast Club. When DJ Envy brought up 50 Cent, Jones clarified his feelings: “I don’t wanna do nothin with that sucka… Leave him out the conversation.” He also claimed to have more hit records than most New York City artists, referencing his solo achievements with platinum and gold certifications.
As you would expect, 50 Cent took to Instagram to fire back. His first post, which has since been deleted, accused Jones of being “delusional,” dismissing his success and claiming that Jones only had one hit song — “Ballin’,” which was written by Max B. “Da fk, he think he [A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie]? Fking PUNK!” 50 wrote in the post.
Not stopping there, 50 Cent followed up with a second message, this time sharing an image of himself reading a book and enjoying a drink while delivering a pointed jab at Jones. “ALL YOU GOTTA DO IS SOMETHING PUNK. YOU GIRLY MOUTH BOY!” the message read, which many interpreted as a veiled threat aimed at his longtime rival.
What’s more, this latest exchange adds another chapter to the ongoing feud between the two rappers. The feud reignited in early 2025 after Jim Jones reacted to 50 Cent and Cam’ron’s Talk With Flee conversation. The rivalry between 50 Cent and Jim Jones has been longstanding, with both artists regularly throwing verbal jabs at each other over the years.
