Meek Mill has shut down allegations made by Luce Cannon, who claimed the rapper was once extorted for $50,000 by a group of Los Angeles Crips.
In a resurfaced interview following his recent arrest in the Big U RICO case, Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crip member Luce Cannon alleged that he and others held Meek hostage at an L.A. nightclub until Rick Ross, Meek’s MMG label boss, paid the ransom.
After the story began circulating online, Meek took to social media on Tuesday (March 25) to dismiss the claims.
“This guy must be using a story to confuse his indictment because I never seen him B4 … I woulda put him to ‘God’s test’ on the spot!” Meek wrote. “I never even met buddy, but I don’t ‘negotiate’ with ‘fake thugs.’ Ask him what chain—because all my chains some sh*t lol. Watches all 300K up vibes.”
Meek’s response leaves little doubt that he’s rejecting the claims outright, making it clear he’s not entertaining the rumors.
