Teyana Taylor is going back into her creative bag. The multi-talented artist is gearing up to drop something major. On Friday, May 30, the multi-hyphenate artist gave fans a first look at her upcoming project titled Escape Room, which will include both a full album and an accompanying short film. With the teaser clocking in at just under two minutes, it offers a striking and surreal glimpse into the cinematic world she is about to release.
The teaser opens with Taylor and acclaimed actor Lakeith Stanfield exchanging vows, quickly cutting to a steamy moment between her and her real-life partner, Aaron Pierre. From there, things take a darker and more experimental turn. One scene shows Taylor engulfed in flames, while another presents her as an almost android-like figure strapped to a bed, delivering a visual experience that blends romance, intensity, and sci-fi imagery. Escape Room is slated for release in August 2025.
