French Montana Abandoned Interview When Asked About Drake And Rick Ross

French Montana made headlines this week after abruptly ending an interview when asked about the highly publicized feud between Drake and Rick Ross. The incident occurred during an appearance on Rah Ali’s Sited Show, where the Bronx rapper declined to comment on the ongoing beef between his former collaborators.

In a video that quickly went viral, Montana is seen standing up mid-interview, saying, “I’ll be right back. I double-parked my car outside.” Moments later, he and his entourage exited the building, effectively ending the sit-down.

The exchange left fans divided. Some criticized French for being evasive, while others defended his decision to avoid the subject. One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “He’s being dramatic—he knows there’s nothing else to talk about,” while another added, “It’s childish, but if he set boundaries beforehand, they should’ve been respected.”

The Drake and Ross question wasn’t the only topic Montana chose to dodge. Earlier in the interview, when asked about his love life, he replied, “I’ll skip that. I just want to keep my private life private,” according to Page Six.

Tension between Drake and Rick Ross began in 2024 amid a wave of diss records targeting the Toronto superstar, most notably from Kendrick Lamar. Ross threw his hat in the ring with the track “Champagne Moments,” continuing a back-and-forth that has drawn in several high-profile artists. Montana, Ross, and Drake famously appeared together on the 2012 hit “Stay Schemin’,” adding to the curiosity surrounding Montana’s silence.

Ali’s question came shortly after Ross teased a new collaboration with Pharrell, another artist rumored to be at odds with Drake. Despite the friction, Ross recently told Bootleg Kev he’s not completely closed to reconciliation. “Send me a white bottle of Belaire and I’ll take a picture with you,” he joked.

As for French Montana, the exit spoke louder than any answer he might’ve given.
