Drake has once again found himself at the center of social media controversy after firing off a pointed message to his critics on Instagram.
In a new post, the 6 God shared a topless selfie taken in front of his home bar, flexing his sculpted abs and captioning the shot with a cryptic jab:
“I’m wide awake for the nights that separate the type who get to it til they get it right from the type who just …type.”

While the Toronto superstar’s caption was aimed at those who sit behind keyboards criticizing his every move, the photo only seemed to fuel the fire. Many commenters quickly zeroed in on his chiseled six-pack, accusing Drake of having fake abs and pointing out that his stomach appeared far more defined than the rest of his body.
This isn’t the first time Drake’s midsection has caused a stir online. Earlier this year, while soaking up the sun in Perth ahead of his Australian tour, he shared another shirtless photo from a swimming pool. That post also prompted a wave of speculation about whether he had turned to cosmetic procedures or weight loss drugs to achieve his look.
“Damn where did he get his abs from?” one user quipped on Instagram, referencing Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Euphoria.”
Another commenter completed the lyric: “V12 it’s a fast one,” alluding to a popular slimming device used before liposuction.
Other reactions ranged from crowning Drake “the Ozempic King” to jokes about him belonging on an episode of Botched.
The scrutiny has even extended to his face. Rick Ross, once a friend and collaborator, has repeatedly mocked Drake over alleged plastic surgery. Last year, Ross posted side-by-side photos of Drake to suggest he’d had a nose job, writing:
“The bridge of your nose somehow got smaller @champagnepapi,” before dubbing him “BBL Drizzy.”
Drake responded in classic fashion by posting a screenshot of a text exchange with his mother, Sandra Graham.
“Aubs – the internet is saying you got a nose job?? You looked the same to me in the kitchen today,” she joked. “I can’t believe you would get one without me, cuz you know I always wanted one.”
Drake fired back playfully:
“I would have got us a 2 for 1 deal if I went ma. It’s coming from Rick Ross the guy I did songs with—he’s gone loopy off the Mounjaro he hasn’t eaten in days and it’s turned him angry and racist he’s performing at proms for money…it’s bad we’ll handle it.”
Despite the endless rumors and roasting, Drake seems unbothered—at least publicly—and determined to keep living life on his own terms, six-pack (real or fake) and all.
