DDG is setting the record straight after online chatter linked him romantically to India Love. Caught by TMZ Hip Hop outside LAX, the rapper and content creator dismissed the dating speculation, especially surrounding a flashy heart-shaped chain he gifted her during a livestream.
According to DDG, there was no deeper meaning behind the jewelry. “It’s just me returning the favor,” he explained, adding that India has shown him kindness before, and the chain was just a way to show appreciation.
When asked about his current dating life, DDG made it clear he’s not looking for love right now. “I’m chilling,” he said. “Focused on the work.”
India Love also spoke on their relationship, offering nothing but praise for DDG. “He’s a great person, he’s a great guy,” she said. “I don’t know what God has for my life but I know he’s a great guy. You gotta pour into people who pour into you, and he’s definitely someone who’s right in my corner and I’m also always gonna be right in his corner. So yeah, shoutout to DDG.”
DDG also gave his take on a recent viral moment involving BenDaDon and a woman revealing she only had $130 to her name while aboard a yacht. DDG didn’t seem fazed by it. “Men be doing that all the time,” he said, referring to guys spending big at clubs or reserving tables to draw attention. “It’s just how it works.”
